Depending on the model chosen, the long-load trolley is suitable for loads up to 12 metres in length. The combination of a central axle and four supporting swivel castors ensures excellent manoeuvrability, even in confined spaces. The Flexibolo® LG can turn on the spot and be manoeuvred precisely between storage areas, machines, workstations and dispatch areas. This allows the long-load trolley to be turned and positioned precisely in confined spaces. The integrated foot brakes ensure the trolley remains stable when parked, as well as during loading and unloading. Push handles are located on both ends, allowing the trolley to be moved from either side depending on the direction of travel and available space. Push handles and插-in crossbars are fully removable The push handles at the ends can not only be repositioned but also completely removed from their mountings if required. The same applies to the side crossbars. This helps to avoid obstructive protrusions when loading, unloading or positioning the trolley. The open design also allows flexible access to the goods being transported and makes it easier to adapt to different material dimensions. Once loaded, the required insertable crossbars can be reinserted to secure the long goods at the sides. Standard capacity up to 3,000 kg – higher payloads on request In its standard version, the Flexibolo® LG has a maximum payload of 3,000 kg. For particularly heavy materials, the heavy-duty long-load trolley can also be designed for higher payloads on request. Customised dimensions are determined based on: Weight of the goods being transported Length and width of the material Load distribution Number and position of support points Intended route Method of loading and unloading Operational conditions This allows the trolley to be specifically adapted to the respective material flow and the transport tasks at hand. Flexibly adjustable side stanchions In the standard version, the Flexibolo® LG features eight side stanchions that can be inserted as required. The 500 mm high stanchions secure the goods along the long sides and can be inserted or removed individually depending on the load. On request, the number of insertable stanchions can be increased. Additional stanchions allow for tighter compartmentalisation and may be useful for materials of varying lengths, smaller bundles or special requirements regarding lateral containment. The exact number and positioning are determined according to the goods to be transported. Loading by forklift or crane In the standard version, four depth struts permanently attached to the trolley create a defined clearance beneath the material. This allows pipes, sections and bundles of material to be picked up by a forklift or crane and placed onto the long-load trolley. The depth struts also serve as support points for the goods being transported. In the case of materials with special dimensions, heavier loads or a non-standard load distribution, the number of depth struts can be increased on request. Additional depth struts enable: additional support points, a more even load distribution, better support for materials susceptible to bending, adaptation to short or varying lengths of goods, customisation to suit bundles of material or containers. The required number and arrangement should be determined based on the specific goods to be transported. Customised design for special requirements In addition to the configurable standard designs, the Flexibolo® LG can be customised on request. This allows the trolley to be tailored to specific goods, work processes or spatial conditions. Possible adaptations include: Design for a payload of more than 3,000 kg additional depth struts additional插-in stanchions adjusted positioning of the support points non-standard trolley dimensions special stanchion or handle arrangements additional mountings and equipment options The basis for the customised design is the dimensions and weight of the goods to be transported, as well as the intended loading and unloading procedures. Optional drawbar The Flexibolo® LG can optionally be fitted with double coupling eyes for attaching a drawbar. The corresponding mounting points can be provided on both ends. The drawbar version is particularly suitable for longer internal transport routes or for applications where the trolley is not to be pushed exclusively by hand. The permissible operating conditions, towing speeds and possible trolley combinations depend on the specific design and must be determined accordingly. Accommodation of long-load stacking cassettes To accommodate suitable long-load stacking cassettes, the trolley can be optionally fitted with additional stacking stanchions. This allows long goods to be stored in a cassette, set down onto the Flexibolo® LG using a forklift or crane, and then moved within the premises without the need for continuous forklift operation. This combination can be particularly useful when integrating storage, order picking and material supply. Hot-dip galvanised steel construction The steel construction of the Flexibolo® LG is hot-dip galvanised in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1461. The hot-dip galvanisation provides durable corrosion protection and enables use both inside buildings and on suitable outdoor areas within the premises. The galvanised surface is particularly suitable for work areas where moisture, abrasion or changing environmental conditions are to be expected.
