Cantilever racking for crane operation with storage levels that can be easily swung out manually without the need for tools or a crank. Storage and retrieval of bundles, bars, sections, pipes, axles, shafts, cables and long goods of all kinds by crane. The cantilever storage levels can be easily swung out from a stationary position in a matter of seconds. Storage lengths from 2 to 18 m. Shelf depths can be customised using插销. Customisable shelf heights – e.g. 9 crane-accessible storage levels with a usable height of 125 mm each, or 6 crane-accessible storage levels with a usable height of 200 mm each. The subtle difference: the engineering behind the development of this swivel-arm racking system for long goods and crane handling – supported by finite element software and refined through empirical testing – ensures smooth manual operation, backed by a 20-year functional guarantee.
The static and dynamic force flow, which constantly changes due to the rotational movement acting on the swivel arm joint, requires the specific selection of a roller bearing combination that is particularly well-suited to this purpose. To ensure long-term reliable operation, the articulated shaft must be securely fixed whilst accommodating forces acting both radially and axially simultaneously, whilst minimising rolling friction; this is achieved by high-quality, permanently lubricated, double-row self-aligning roller bearings, designed with high load ratings for the heaviest loads, which, thanks to their angular adjustability, are capable of successfully compensating for misalignment where necessary.
The seemingly oversized, heavy, highly stable support structure permanently rules out, from the outset, the devastating effect of any subsequent misalignment of the shelving and is the ultimate prerequisite for ensuring that the precision swivel arms can successfully demonstrate their desired perfection for an unlimited period of time.
The extensive range of accessories, as well as the possibility of combining swivelling and fixed cantilever arms within a single system, characterises the high flexibility of this system. It is even possible to install the system without floor anchors on composite paving, soft asphalt, underfloor heating, etc.
The swivel arms are automatically locked to prevent spontaneous or unintentional swivelling in or out. The deliberate, simultaneous swivelling out of several bearing planes constitutes an incorrect operation contrary to best practice. However, when installed in accordance with the instructions, the system’s stability is guaranteed even in such cases.
